PE & Sport Allocation

Updated to show information for academic year 2015/2016

Background...

The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve quality of the PE and sport activities they offer.

How we use it...

In 2013-4 we used our PE and Sport Premium to part finance the children in Year 6 to attend an afternoon swimming session at our Local Secondary link school - North Kesteven ;

The children follow the ASA national plan for swimming teaching;

  1. Ducklings up to level 5
  2. National swim awards.

17 year six children took part in the swimming sessions in 2013-2014.

They achieved-

  • 10 children achieved the 25metres award
  • 3 children achieved the 10 metres award
  • 1 child achieved the 5 metres award

Our plan for 2015 is to continue to use the funding for our Key Stage 2 classes to allow our children to gain confidence in the water and hopefully learn to swim.
