The staff in Class 7 have brought in their favourite story books to share. We have read Timothy toad, Rainbow fish, Elmer, Winnie the Pooh, Goldilocks and Paddington. #5 Thursday 2nd March 2017 - 2M - World Book Day

Today something very exciting has happened in class 2M.

We have been learning about Jack and the beanstalk and have planted our own bean seeds. Last night one of our seeds grew into a magic beanstalk and  the giant visited our classroom!! He left us a letter and lots of muddy footprints.  The giant has asked us to write Jack a letter and ask for the giants harp back because he misses playing it.

We have worked very hard and written some fantastic letters.

#1 Tuesday 20th September 2016 - Special Schools RE Day

On Tuesday 20th September the students in Year 11 joined together with students from other special schools to celebrate RE Day at Lincoln Cathedral. This year’s theme was ‘Journeys’ and there were various activities to explore and enjoy. The students were able to reflect on their previous years at school and recall special memories. They were encouraged to think about happy times, things they would give thanks for and any regrets. 11C had the chance to self-reflect as they walked around the labyrinth and answer thought provoking questions. 11D especially enjoyed the weaving activity and the tour around the Cathedral.

Many of the students wanted to light a candle in memory of someone special or to say a small prayer. Mrs Roberts was also a big part of the day as she led various groups in lively dance sessions.

The day was brought to an end as everyone joined together in a special celebration through singing and dance as students look forward to the next big steps on their journey of life!
