St Christopher’s School is an all age forward-thinking and innovative special school with a diverse pupil population. Our over 230 pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties and we have many pupils on the autistic spectrum. We are located in Lincoln.

We are looking for:



Salary: Main Scale 1 - 6 (£22,917 to £33,824) depending on experience.


We require a teacher to work with our students with severe learning needs and the flexibility and desire to work with students who have more complex autistic needs. You will join a team of staff who are experienced and supportive, providing professional development and a wide range of experience with the students and families in the phase.


All we ask is that you are a self-motivated individual, who will provide challenge and have high expectations of all the students you work with and be a team player.

Teaching Assistant Level 1

We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with young people with complex needs and associated learning needs. The post is initially based within our complex autism unit although the applicant needs to have a flexible approach to working across our school.


Our young people require support and development in communicating and interacting and the applicant needs to be intuitive to the verbal and non verbal responses and requests pupils give.

We would strongly encourage applicants to visit the school for a tour. Tours of the school are available: 10am on 31st January and 11am on 1st February.
